Peer Review Process

CHANI Journal of Community Services and Development (C-JCosDev) uses a double-blind review process to ensure the quality and objectivity of articles.

Peer Review Stages

  1. Initial Check: The editor reviews the manuscript for alignment with the journal’s focus, writing guidelines, and similarity score (Turnitin).

  2. Reviewer Assignment: Manuscripts that pass the initial check are sent to at least two anonymous reviewers.

  3. Reviewer Evaluation: Reviewers assess the contribution, methodology, clarity of writing, and provide recommendations:

    • Reject: Rejected.
    • Resubmit for Review: Requires major revisions and will be reviewed again.
    • Accept with Revisions: Accepted with minor/major revisions.
    • Accept: Accepted without changes.
  4. Final Decision: The editor makes the publication decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations.

  5. Revision: Revised articles are reassessed before being published.

Estimated Time

The review process typically takes 4–12 weeks.
